Product Description

Nelson Bold Primer Sealer based on alkyd resin is specially formulated to seal moisture and marks of moisture on plaster surfaces meant for repainting. It is used as primary coat to enhance durability of finishing paint.

Design Usage

Nelson Bold Primer sealer can be used on interior plastered walls, ceiling, concrete, and brickwork etc. It reduces damage from alkali, salts and seals porous surfaces.

Application Method

Brush / Roller and spray, Dilute (by volume) the paint 10 – 15 % of Nelson ideal Turpentine (This is recommended method of application Care should be taken to ensure an even application to avoid film defects)

Storage Instruction

Store in a cool shaded, well-ventilated dry area, protected from heat and direct sunlight. Container must be kept tightly closed.

Surface Preparation

The surface to be painted should be clean, dry free from all loose material like efflorescence and old Flaking paint. Loose plaster, cement splashes and dust must be
thoroughly removed. New plaster / concrete must be fully cured. Uneven areas should be filled with Nelson Bold Wall Putty and leveled with emery paper before painting.

Condition during Application

The temperature of the substrate should not be less then 100C and at least 30C above the dew point of the air, temperature and relative humidity measured in the vicinity of the substrate

Safety Precautions

  • Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing such as goggles, dust mask and gloves. Use a barrier cream.
  • Ensure that there is adequate ventilation in the area where the product is being applied. Do not breathe vapors or spray.
  • This product is un-flammable but Keep away from sources of ignition and heat.
  • Paint should be stirred well before use. Replace lid of unused paint tin tightly.
